And so here we are, birthdays all over the place at this time of year. But, I wanted to send a special wish to a good friend.
Thank you for being you! Thank you for getting me off the couch and out into the world, when I was lost. Thank you for being so organized, and so kind, and so trustworthy! Thank you for forgiving me all my bad behavior.
But most of all, thank you for being my good friend. I will never lose sight of you again. I promise. Cross my heart....
Happy 40 something! It only gets better from here....

I don't know about the rest of you, but I plan to be a rockin old lady and there will be no chair involved! Embrace the gray, wrinkles and dimples! Any advice to someone who will turn 40 this summer?
On another note...Can you tell me how to get...how to get to Kenwood Street? Sorry, but the Sesame Street theme song goes through my head every time I log on! hee hee That's what you get when you're born the late 60's!

how funny, kathy!!! that has crossed my mind a few times, too. as for turning forty...let me tell you...my 40s have been waaaaaaayyyyyy better than my 30s and 20s...my only complaint is that this seems to be the decade where my body has started feeling the aging process...oh...and there is that gravity thing, too.
