It's that time of year again! The Plaza Art Fair. Great fun, if it's not too hot. Cindy and Shelly and I spent a few hours rubbing elbows with the artists, the crowd, and at least a few four footed friends. It was cool to see everything: The art, the people, the mundane and unusual. I finally ponied up this year and bought something...a signed picture of a graveyard in Ireland. Not that I'm morose or anything, it's a pretty cool picture. I'm just trying to figure out now where to hang it...front hallway might be a little too intense for visiting guests. Bathroom...too scary for those about to shower. Bedroom, well maybe in the guest bedroom/workout room. It'll remind me my time here is limited, so I better get to it! I've been cleaning this weekend (should've told everyone to sit down first, I know). It's true, this girl can actually accomplish quite a lot when the time is right...and friends, let me tell you, I'm about to hit the basement, pack up some unwanted history, and move on. It's about time I created a space for a new beginning and said goodbye to the past. I know, I know...you are collectively breathing a sigh of relief. Me Too.

looking forward to seeing your art piece...it actually sounds quite cool!...and, indeed, a poignant reminder of how brief our span on the planet is...
Oooo! Is it like the photos we saw at the Irish Fest? Those were way cool! Maybe hang it where you spend the most quiet time.
Quiet time? Quiet time? Wherefore Art Thou?
I'm working on getting some more...as of yesterday!
Picture is very magical...scene of an ancient cemetary with the mist still shrouding part of it. Ireland is in my travel plans, got a passport? How bout we go in 2010, when I'm done with school?? Transatlantic field trip anyone??
